Mildred Otero
“A CHCI fellowship gave me access to a world I never would have entered, and the chance to touch children’s and families’ lives. It amplified my voice to heights my immigrant parents could never have imagined. There are thousands just like me.” -Mildred Otero, Senior Vice President for National Impact, Leadership for Educational Equity, 2003-2004 CHCI Public Policy Fellow
