Juan Ruiz-Sanchez

Juan Ruiz-Sanchez is a child of an educator mom and an immigrant dad who was born and raised in Caruthers California. Throughout his life he has learned a lot and worked towards success for his future. He has created impacts that motivate others to succeed. He is involved in Varsity volleyball, CSF. Upward Bound, FFA and a former Doctors Academy student. But, his community involvement is so much more, he is part of sports medicine, helping hands, culture club,  leadership president, FFA officer, founder and president of College bound, Varsity, JV and Frosh Volleyball manager. While having over 300 hours of community service and maintaining a GPA of 4.2, Juan is set to graduate and be the first to graduate with his associate degree in biology at Caruthers High. He is the first one in the district to graduate with a college degree. He plans to continue his education and work towards becoming a pediatrician. He has been given the privilege and was the first one ever to be picked to participate in CHCI NextGen at Caruthers High School. Juan is excited to see what the future holds for him and how he will be able to succeed in life.
