Kassandra Sinchi

Hometown: New York, New York

School: Stuyvesant High School

Kassandra Sinchi is a proud Ecuadorian-Dominican junior from New York City, and a rising Senior at Stuyvesant High School. As the eldest daughter in a first-generation family, she built her voice through advocacy (translating legal documents, navigating systems not built for her community, and standing up for her loved ones when no one else would). At school, she serves as Co-Chair of the Student Leadership Team and Co-President of ASPIRA, where she works to uplift Latiné voices and create more inclusive, and empowering spaces. Kassandra is passionate about immigration justice, educational equity, and ensuring that students who are often overlooked feel seen and empowered. She believes leadership is about transforming personal struggle into collective progress. Through CHCI NextGen, Kassandra hopes to deepen her policy knowledge, connect with fellow changemakers, and continue building a future where immigrant families are treated with dignity and respect.
