Damaris Rosas is a dedicated and passionate rising senior from Mount Vernon in Washington state. She has served as an International Ambassador through Washington World Fellows where she engages in academic discourse to present at the International Youth Summit held in Spain, State Speech Champion and Captain of the debate team, and serves in the executive board of the Skagit County Teen Court program to combat the school-to-jail-pipeline at the local level. Through these activities, she has embraced her passion for social justice as she aspires to become an immigration attorney to further her deep desire to support immigrant communities. As such, Damaris applied to CHCI NextGen to engage with Latino changemakers and gain the tools necessary to advocate for underrepresented communities.
