Daniela’s Hispanic heritage continues to be an integral part of her identity throughout all phases of her life. As a Latina and first-generation college student, she deeply values representation and advocacy. During her time at the University of Florida (UF), Daniela exemplified her passion for her community by serving as President of the Hispanic Student Association, where she encouraged Latine students to take up space and break barriers. Daniela also served as a Florida Cicerone, immersing herself in a culture of stewardship and sharing her love of the campus with prospective students, demonstrating the immeasurable impact of telling her story to students who may struggle to picture themselves in higher education.
Daniela graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing, and a certificate in International Relations. She plans to continue her education by attending law school and pursuing a career in the legal field, fueled by her deep passion for advocacy.
While in Washington, DC with CHCI, Daniela aspires to become a better advocate for her community. With this uniquely enriching opportunity, she hopes to broaden her perspective on the issues her community faces and discover how she can better serve her community on a grander scale.
