Edgar Jared Vilchez

Edgar Jared Vilchez is a first-generation Latino student, currently attending Cornell University. He is majoring in Government with a minor in Policy Analysis and Management. He is from Chicago, IL and a proud son of immigrant parents. Edgar has dedicated from a young age to always give back to his community and it’s through public service and social justice. He has advocated for gun violence prevention and immigration reform that came from his personal stories. As he was able to speak at the 2024 Democratic National Convention. He hopes to run for office one day to represent his community at the federal level.
