U.S. Representative Linda Sanchez

Gala Loayza is currently a Legislative Assistant with Congresswoman Linda Sánchez where she covers her work on the Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee and foreign policy, defense, veterans affairs, small business and labor issues. 

Before joining Team Sánchez, she was a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Rick Larsen, covering immigration, health care, judiciary and education issues, among others. Gala is a first-generation immigrant who is proud of her roots and motivated to improve outcomes for the Hispanic community. 

Gala grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia where she dedicated her time to volunteering for various local democratic campaigns. Gala graduated from King’s College London with a Bachelor of Science in Political Economy in 2021.
