Isaac Hinojosa

Isaac Hinojosa was born in Harlingen, Texas, located 30 minutes from the Texas-Mexico border. He is committed to his community volunteer work, academic clubs at school, and his varsity water polo team. He has seen firsthand the disparities in education, healthcare, and employment opportunities that exist in his predominantly Hispanic community. Isaac seeks out various programs such as CHCI NextGen in order to improve his leadership skills, social skills, organizational skills, and his understanding of what it takes to be a part of a successful community. Isaac hopes to one day increase awareness about all of the opportunities that are out there for young Hispanics such as himself.
