Jasmin Marin Ramirez

Jasmin Marin Ramirez is a student at Olathe South High School and a leader dedicated to expanding opportunities for Latino youth through business, education, and community service. Growing up in Kansas, where Latinas remain underrepresented in leadership spaces, she was inspired to become that representation for others. As an Olathe District Ambassador for Real World Learning, she founded her school’s RWL Club and connected more than 450 students to career and college opportunities.

Jasmin served as Kansas FBLA District VI Vice President and currently serves as Vice President of Spanish Honors Society and a board leader in Latino Student Union, where she helped raise over $5,000 in scholarships for Hispanic seniors. She also founded Hope Travels With Us, a teen-led initiative that donated 2,000+ pounds of clothing to support families in Mexico, Honduras, and the United States. Jasmin applied for CHCI NextGen to strengthen her advocacy and leadership skills to create meaningful change in Latino communities.
