Jorge González Canizal is a strategic communications and media professional focused on uplifting Latino voices and driving equity through narrative power. Born in Mexico and raised in Santa Maria, California, Jorge currently serves as Director of Paid Media at Climate Power, where he leads bilingual, culturally grounded advertising campaigns across the country. His work has helped shape multi-million dollar efforts to mobilize Latino voters on issues like clean energy, climate, and democracy; including award-winning national campaigns recognized by the Reed Awards and Center for Digital Strategy.

Jorge previously worked at Univision’s Political, Advocacy, and Government group, helping major campaigns better reach Latino audiences, and has remained an active alumnus of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) since his internship on Capitol Hill in 2019. He is deeply committed to mentorship, storytelling, and building community across lines of identity and geography.
