Kyla Dee Anderson (She/Her) is the Legislative Correspondent/Legislative Aide for Rep. Dan Goldman (NY-10). She is working alongside the member who represents her home district in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. She strives to bring representation of her community to D.C. because no one knows the district like a constituent. Kyla is a proud Afro-Latina and Nuyorican- a Puerto Rican with strong roots to New York City.

Kyla is an alumna of CHCI’s Congressional Internship Program Fall ‘22 and the Latino Hill Staff Academy ‘24. She completed her studies at Binghamton University and received a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Law (PPL), with a minor in Latin American and Caribbean Area Studies.

As Vice President of Leadership Development for the DC-Metro Chapter of the Alumni Association, Kyla hopes to strengthen connections between junior and senior alumni. While the next four years will be challenging, Kyla hopes to build a safe, supportive community focused on uplifting one another.
