President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at CHCI’s 2023 Leadership Conference and 46th Annual Awards Gala
Washington, D.C. – September 13, 2023 – The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) will welcome President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to participate in this year’s CHCI Hispanic Heritage month signature events. President Biden will serve as a featured speaker for the 46th CHCI Awards Gala, and Vice President Harris will participate in a discussion during the 2023 Leadership Conference.
“CHCI is honored to have President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris join us at this year’s conference and gala,” said CHCI Chair Rep. Adriano Espaillat. “Their participation is a testament to the priorities of this administration and a reminder that we have partners in the White House who give us a seat at the table and are fighting for the needs of Latino families across the country. It is with great appreciation that we welcome President Biden and Vice President Harris to this year’s conference and gala.”
The CHCI Leadership Conference and Annual Awards Gala are one of DC’s most prestigious Hispanic Heritage Month events that recognize the numerous contributions of Latinos across the country.
Additional guests of honor at this year’s conference and gala include, the Biden-Harris administration’s Latino cabinet secretaries, members of congress, MSNBC’s Alicia Menendez who will serve as mistress of ceremonies, and Grammy-award winning artists Bobby Pulido and Los Hermanos Rosario.
