NATIONAL LATINO LEADERSHIP ORGANIZATION RECOGNIZED IN “SOCIAL IMPACT — BRANDED CONTENT” CATEGORY 

Washington D.C. – May 21, 2024 – The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) has been honored with a Bronze Telly Award in the category of Social Impact – Branded Content, for its innovative “Here to Lead” Podcast.  

As a premier national organization advancing Latino leadership development, CHCI launched “Here to Lead” to tell powerful stories exemplifying the ethos, hopes, and dreams of one of the nation’s fastest growing communities – U.S. Latinos.  

The podcast amplifies profiles of influential Hispanic/Latino figures from a cross-section of professional realms. The discussions showcase the lives and careers of Members of Congress, other public officials, corporate executives, and prominent civil society leaders.

Currently in its third season, “Here to Lead” delves into thought-provoking conversations addressing pressing issues, discussing the leadership development landscape, and offering reflections on how to lead a fulfilling, healthy, and meaningful life. Together, the episodes paint a rich picture of the vision held for this vast and diverse community, helping orient Latino leaders at all levels and roles in their respective civic and professional efforts. 

CHCI President and CEO Marco Davis is the Podcast’s founder and host. “Here to Lead offers Latino leaders a space to speak candidly about their personal story and share their unique perspectives on leadership and what they believe the future holds for Latinos. We’re honored to receive a prestigious Telly Award for our efforts to inspire, inform, and equip listeners from all walks of life and to fuel the broader movement for representation and equity,” he said in response to the announcement.

The Telly Awards annually showcase the best work in television and video across screens. With over 12,000 entries globally, from 6 continents and all 50 U.S. states, the prestigious recognition is granted to some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies, and publishers worldwide.
