NextGen Latino Leadership Program

The NextGen Latino Leadership Program provides emerging leaders and those deeply committed to advancing the Latino community with the opportunity, as high school students, to spend a week in Washington, D.C., exploring the city and the role it plays in our nation’s past, present, and future.

Deadline:  January 16, 2026

Undergraduate Student & Recent Graduate

Congressional Internship Program

The CHCI Congressional Internship Program (CIP) provides college students of any major with a paid placement in a congressional office for a period of 12 weeks (Fall) or 10 weeks (Summer). Applicants to the Congressional Internship Program must currently be enrolled full-time and working towards their undergraduate degree in the academic period prior to participation.

Deadline:  December 1, 2025 & March 1, 2026

College Graduate

Public Policy Fellowship Program

This nine-month paid program supports talented Latino leaders and individuals deeply committed to advancing the Latino community accelerate their careers as public policy leaders. Applicants to the Public Policy Fellowship Program must have earned a bachelor’s degree within three years of the program start date.

Deadline:  December 1, 2025

Masters or JD

Postgraduate Fellowship Program

This nine-month paid program offers exceptional Latinos and those deeply committed to the Latino community unparalleled exposure to hands-on experience in a variety of public policy areas. Applicants to the Post Graduate Fellowship Program must have completed a master’s degree or JD within two years prior to the program start date.

Deadline:  December 1, 2025

Capitol Hill Staffers

Latino Hill Staff Academy

This is a non-partisan, bicameral Academy dedicated to providing professional and leadership development opportunities for Latino leaders and individuals deeply committed to advancing the Latino community on Capitol Hill. Applicants must be current Hill staff or former staff with a strong desire to return to the Hill.
