Anabelle Sanchez is a Mexican-American from Chicago, Illinois. She is currently the Vice-Chair of the Public Health Committee on the Chicago Mayor’s Youth Commission, student representative of her school’s Local School Council, and tutors elementary school students. Anabelle deeply believes in giving back to her community and wants to dedicate her life to public service in order to help those who may not have a voice. The NextGen program has solidified Anabelle’s career goals in life and has demonstrated the path on how to get there. Without the NextGen program, she would not have known about the endless possibilities in the career field of politics.
