Álvaro Orta is from Carolina, Puerto Rico. He is currently a participating member of his senior class student council, basketball team, marching band, among other things. His passion is to be involved in anything that can make change for good. Thanks to the NextGen program, Álvaro learned what it means to be a Latino in our current society and how his voice and opinions should be heard. He is excited as to what his future job holds because after this amazing experience, he has decided to do some research on jobs regarding law.
