Ana Zarate is a daughter of Mexican immigrants from Tahoe Truckee, California. She is the Current president of the Model United Nations and a part of a community based organization, La Fuerza Latina which strives to provide college access to low income first generation students like herself. She’s passionate about making a change and believes everyone has a voice to share. Thanks to the NextGen program, Ana gained a deeper understanding of who she is as a Latina and gained an amazing network of future leaders. She hopes to someday be a lawyer and make positive change within her community.
