Arianna Rubalcava was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, 20 miles north of Los Angeles, CA. Her family immigrated to the Valley from Jalisco, Michoacán, and Baja California, Mexico. At an early age, Arianna’s family instilled the importance of advancing one’s educational and professional endeavors to give back to your community.
Arianna recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Public Policy. While at UC Berkeley, Arianna served as the Executive Director of the Latinx Pre Law Society, leading pre-law and professional development events for Berkeley’s Latinx community. In 2021, Arianna was selected as a Leonard Schaeffer Fellow and interned with the City of Los Angeles Attorney’s office where she learned about litigation at a municipal level. These experiences have allowed Arianna to explore career opportunities in law and public policy as Arianna plans to pursue a Juris Doctor Degree and a Master’s in Public Policy.
As a CHCI Intern, Arianna is excited to gain hands-on experience working on Capitol Hill alongside inspirational individuals at the center of our government’s legislative process.
