During her four-year journey at the Mount, Ashley actively engaged in leadership roles that showcased her commitment and skills. She was a social media manager at the Division of Student Affairs, leveraging her creativity and digital prowess. She was also elected as the Executive Vice President of the Student Government Association while making a positive impact as a dedicated Community Advisor within Residence Life. Among the many leadership on-campus positions she was a part of, she additionally participated in the Independent California Colleges Advocate Program, where she traveled to the California State Capitol in Sacramento and had the opportunity to advocate for doubling the Cal Grant award for college students like herself. Throughout this day trip, she made her voice heard on issues students face when pursuing college education to Assembly Members like Jacqui Irwin, Mike Fong, and Speaker of the Assembly Anthony Rendon.
