Eli Romero is originally from Oaxaca, Mexico and now living in Watsonville, California. He likes to get involved in his community, like making art representing different cultures, advocating for equity, and helping others. He has a great passion for helping his Latino community since they still have obstacles to face in this country. The NextGen program helped him realize the change he can make in his community and that he is not alone as there are young leaders across the country that are working for the same causes.
