Emilio Contreras is a professional with experience in legislative and policy roles, specializing in defense, foreign affairs, and veterans issues. He currently serves as a Legislative Assistant in the Office of Representative Jennifer Wexton, managing policy portfolios and supporting appropriations work. Emilio has also worked as a Legislative Correspondent for Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, managing correspondence programs and drafting memos on international affairs.

Emilio’s background includes a legal internship with the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, where he provided legal and policy analysis on legislation, nominations, and oversight matters. He has also worked as a Field Organizer for the Arizona Democratic Party, engaging with community leaders and activists to activate volunteer networks and implement campaign strategies.
