Gabriela Gongora Rosales

Gabriela Gongora Rosales is a Colombian Immigrant who moved to Sanford, Florida with her family in 2013. She is currently an Initiative Leader advocating for Title IX Reform in her school district, the President of her school’s Model United Nations team and NHS Chapter, and currently serves on the Sanford City Youth Council. She is passionate about achieving equity for students of color and women, particularly in education and in local policy. Attending the NextGen Latino Leadership Program has helped Gabriela make amazing connections with a network of Latino leaders, explore the intersectionality of Latinx identities, including her own. Gabriela is so excited to apply the leadership and advocacy skills she gained from the NextGen Program to continue making an impact in her community.
