Isabela Rodríguez is a proud Latina from Washington D.C. her family descends from Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela. She comes from a long line of leaders and carries that legacy and honor of being a leader in her community. She is currently part of the Latinx club at her school as well as a small group of selected students focused on creating a school community that lives up to the values of racial and social justice.

She is committed to advancing racial and social justice in her community. What she learned during the CHCI NextGen program was invaluable. She was able to be part of an awesome and welcoming group of young leaders who shared her passion and love for improving the lives of their communities.
