Jetzabel Rivera-Lopez is the daughter of Mexican immigrants from Indianapolis, Indiana. She is the current president of her school’s HOSA Club, is the secretary of the ASL Club, and volunteers with young children to teach them the effects of unhealthy habits on the human body. She is passionate about empowering young girls to pursue STEM opportunities. Thanks to the NextGen program, Jetzabel gained a deeper connection to her Mexican heritage and access to resources to incite change in her community.
