Judith Joaquin is Mexican-American from San Antonio, Texas. She loves leading her school’s Student Council and UIL Academics as club President and serving her city as a dedicated volunteer. From her extracurriculars and learning Chinese she has become a leader eager to engage with international communities in the future. Experiencing the NextGen program alongside a wonderful group whom she had the pleasure of getting to know allowed her to expand her understanding of the diversity that lies within the Hispanic diaspora. Thanks to this program she also made incredible friendships and memories to cherish for years to come.
