Julianna is an Afro-Latina born and raised in Elkton, Maryland. She is involved in school clubs like the famed ASPIRA club which serves to empower the Latino community through advocacy, education, and leadership of the youth. She also volunteers in the community like the local help center and healthcare facilities. Her “Because..” is to help her community and make a positive impact from the moment she walks in the door. She plans to make a career out of this reason by becoming a doctor. Through NextGen, she has gained a better understanding of how great of an impact anyone can make, from a student all the way to the President.
