Luis is a Mexican American student who was born in Texas, moved to Mexico for 11 years, and then came back to US. He went through some obstacles such as learning English, working in agriculture as a migrant worker in the summer for a better education, but is happy to say that he is going to be the first in his family to go to college. One thing that he learned from the CHCI NextGen program is that no matter where we are us Latinos are going to face some challenges but we are able to bring change as the líderes that we are.
