Luis grew up in Indiana with two loving sisters and is a student athlete who runs on his schools cross county team but is more involved with the swim team. As a student he works really hard on his studies which he hopes will place him at a good college. He hopes to obtain mechanical engineering degree. He recommends CHCI for a number of reasons the main one being you get to feel a sense of belonging and understand that there isn’t a one size fits all for the Latino community. Because of his experience at NextGen he became more socially aware of the struggles in the Latino community.
