Nathaniel Chavez

Nathaniel Chavez is the son of Mexican parents from Phoenix, Arizona. Through his experiences joining leadership programs during his youth such as Be A Leader and TRIO Talent Search, he became involved in school extracurriculars to help his community improve. He is the President of Key Club, President of Modern Medicine Future Physicians, Leader of a Big Brother cohort, Brophy Community Foundations Intern, and cofounder of his school’s first Mariachi Club. Nate aspires to become an orthopedic surgeon while developing affordable medicine and healthcare for the underserved communities. He owes the NextGen program gratitude for gaining new experiences on Capitol Hill, making a wide array of networks across the nation, and an newfound understanding of the power in future Latino leaders.
