NICOLE DUQUE

As a first-generation Latinx student, Nicole knows the critical value of resources and support. Having been raised in a lifestyle where nothing was guaranteed, her parents never failed to instill the mantra “that education is something that no one can take from you.” Her education began in the public school system and continued at a private institution. She recently graduated from George Washington University with a double major in International Affairs with a concentration in conflict & resolution and Business Administration.

She is originally from Union City, New Jersey. Her hometown has always held a special place in her heart. Her city reflects the life of the working class and as a daughter of Colombian and Peruvian parents, she is proud to say that her background has shown her the true importance and impact of public policy on constituents. Currently, she is working as a Staff Assistant in the United State Senate.
