Sofia Fernandez

Sofia Fernández is a daughter of a Mexican American and a Nicaraguan immigrant. She was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She is a rower on the Winter Park High School rowing team, the president and founder of the Neuroscience Club, and a member of the Women in STEM club. She’s passionate about videography, neuroscience, and art history. Thanks to the NextGen program, Sofia was able to discuss with other young Latino leaders to learn about their cultures and ideas. She looks forward to seeing how her and her peers will grow up to change the world.
