Senior Manager, Alumni Affairs
Dania Castro is the Senior Manager for Alumni Affairs at CHCI. Dania’s role supports the CHCI alumni network by increasing our nationwide alumni engagement initiatives and partnerships.
Her experience in higher education ranges from college admissions, curriculum design and implementation, and civic engagement programming for institutions such as George Washington University and University of South Carolina. As a previous Program Manager for UnidosUS, she oversaw the post-secondary success initiatives and managed a community of college success professionals that implemented programming to support Latine college students across the country.
As an instructor for the Cisneros Hispanic Leadership Institute at George Washington University she saw first-hand the impact that CHCI programming has on students and how it expands the access for Latino students in all industries. Dania is a proud Guatemalan American and first-generation Latina. She was born and raised in Miami, FL and values being able to support the Latino community thrive.
