Daniela Fernández-Sanchez is the Chief Development Officer at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI). In this role, she leads the organization’s national fundraising strategy and manages relationships with corporate, foundation, and individual partners to ensure CHCI’s programs continue to grow and thrive.
For over a decade, Daniela’s career has focused on fundraising, government affairs, and building strategic partnerships to advance equity and opportunity for underrepresented communities. She has raised millions in support of nonprofits, PACs, and national organizations, with a particular focus on empowering Latino leaders and driving progressive impact. Prior to joining CHCI, Daniela held senior development roles at Voto Latino, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, and Latino Victory Project, and began her career as a legislative aide in the Florida House and Senate.
A proud daughter of Cuban and Nicaraguan immigrants and Miami native, Daniela is deeply committed to uplifting Latino voices in public service and philanthropy. She is a graduate of Florida State University and currently resides in the Washington, D.C.-metro area.
