President and CEO
Marco A. Davis is President and CEO of CHCI. He is proud to help lead an organization that provides public service and policy experiences to outstanding Latino/a/e students and young professionals, and supports a network of more than 5,000 highly accomplished alumni, as well as convening Members of Congress, other public officials, corporate executives, nonprofit advocates, and thought leaders to address issues facing the nation and Latino community.
Marco has dedicated more than 30 years to identifying, developing, connecting, and supporting Latino leaders in the United States, mapping the Latino leadership landscape. His career spans a variety of roles in the nonprofit sector, with roles in leadership development at national organizations such as UnidosUS and Ashoka, as well as work in venture philanthropy at New Profit. He served in government as Director of Public Engagement at the AmeriCorps agency and Deputy Director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics under President Obama, and on President Biden’s Commission on White House Fellowships.
Marco has been a Pahara-Aspen Fellow and a Terker Distinguished Fellowship at the George Washington University, and currently serves on the board executive committees of Hispanics in Philanthropy and the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR). He holds a B.A. in History and Latin American Studies from Yale University, and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Originally from the New York City area, he lives in the District of Columbia.
