Piero Zavala

Piero is a Staff Accountant at CHCI, ensuring accuracy in accounting and contributing directly to CHCI’s financial operations. Prior to this role, he was a Relationship Banker at Bank of America where he connected clients with specialists for personal and business needs. Before Bank of America, he was an Analytics Intern at Freddie Mac where he reviewed internal reports as part of their Business Transformation team.

Piero is a proud Peruvian born in Lima and raised in Northern Virginia. Through his participation in his local ALPFA chapter as Treasurer and time served as President of Virginia Tech’s La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity Inc., Piero holds CHCI’s mission close to heart and has maintained a priority to help build pathways to success for Latino students.

In his free time, he enjoys thrifting, putting together puzzles, and finding new places to eat.
