Sasha Frausto

Sasha Frausto is the Director of Leadership Programs at CHCI, where she leads a portfolio of leadership and professional development programs, including internships, fellowships, and training opportunities for emerging leaders. Across her career, Sasha has focused on expanding access to public service, developing pathways for underrepresented communities, and equipping leaders with the tools to thrive in their careers.

In her last role, Sasha served as Director of the White House Internship Program, overseeing the Administration’s premier public service leadership initiative. She previously managed CHCI’s Congressional Internship Program and has also guided national early career and leadership development efforts across the nonprofit sector. A first-generation college graduate, Sasha earned her degree from the University of California, San Diego and has seen the power of access, community support, and opportunity in shaping emerging leaders, which is why CHCI’s mission is personal to her.
