Victoria Kim Hamscho is an Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of K&L Gates LLP, where she is a member of the Public Policy and Law Practice Group. Victoria focuses her practice on legislative and regulatory matters impacting clients in the health care, higher education, technology, and telecommunications sectors. Victoria represents clients on legislative matters before Congress, as well as regulatory matters before the White House,
the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Education, and the Federal
Communications Commission. Victoria represents clients before the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and facilitates client partnerships and engagement with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute.
Victoria grew up in Mexico and has a demonstrated commitment to serving the Latino community.
Victoria is a member of the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Bar Association of DC (HBA-DC) and is an active member of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), where she works to promote and advance the development of Latinos in the legal profession and advocate for equal justice and opportunity for all Latinos. In 2024, Victoria is leading HNBA’s presentations on the Implications of the Presidential and Congressional Elections at its Corporate Counsel Conference and its Annual Convention, as well as HBA-DC’s presentation on the Implications of the Elections on Hispanics in DC.
Victoria received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was President of the NYU
Latinx Law Students Association. She has an M.P.H. in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
