Cesia Velazquez is a first generation-student currently attending Richmond Early College for her senior year. She is involved in her schools JROTC drill and archery team. Cesia aspires to be not only a lawyer, but also an author of science fiction novels. She is passionate about helping those in her community explore opportunities for higher education. CHCI NextGen has helped her come up with new ideas on how she can give back to her community and has also motivated her to work hard for her dreams regardless of the obstacles.
