Alexis Oliver is an innovative student from Southgate, California currently attending South East High School. She is involved in various extracurricular activities taking on leadership positions becoming editor-in-chief of her high school yearbook program, president of her school student council and much more. Through these programs, she has gotten the opportunity to bring various people together creating a stronger school community via planning school workshops and including all students in the yearbook. She has been passionate about the political scene working towards making a change and giving opportunities for underrepresented groups. She was recommended to apply to CHCI NextGen, which allowed her to learn more about politics giving her a chance to connect with various office officials motivating her to strive to achieve her goals.
