Alicia Godoy has faced many challenges growing up such as the loss of a parent and the struggles faced as a low income Latina student. However, this has not stopped her even once. She preserves and works hard to engage herself in her academics and community, maintaining straight A’s and volunteering at places such as the Children’s Museum. Her passion for bettering her community and striving to be her best self led her to apply to CHCI NextGen.
