Anderson Samayoa is a proud Guatemalan high school student from the Bay-Area, California, who is actively involved in leadership and community service. As President of the Raíces Club and Founding Member of the Community Service Club at his school, Anderson is dedicated to promoting cultural awareness and giving back to the community. He also serves as Vice President of his church’s youth group and participates in various other school clubs. Anderson recently participated in CHCI NextGen, which emphasized the importance of standing up for marginalized voices and acknowledging the struggles of the Latino community in the U.S. Anderson plans to pursue computer science in college, inspired by a commitment to social justice and community empowerment in this field.
