Angela Fernandez is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants from Los Angeles, California. She grew up in a nurturing and encouraging environment forged by the people around her, motivating her to always reach for the stars. Throughout her academic years, she has had a consistent passion for the subject of English, relishing in the joy of reading and writing. Angela is currently an active volunteer in a local food bank, and routinely takes charge in class assignments such as group projects or presentations. During her involvement in CHCI NextGen, Angela grew to expand her leadership abilities, due to vast communication and socialization opportunities with her peers. CHCI NextGen was a stepping stone to a brighter and more determined future with an expanded knowledge on future leadership characteristics.
