Ariena Molina resides in Santa Ana, California. She grew up surrounded by a Latino community and was raised by hardworking immigrants, learning about the hardships they endure. The pride she has for the Latino community and her family motivates her to continue going forward and take advantage of any opportunities that come her way. She is currently the ASB president of a school she attends called Middle College High School. With a passion for leadership and community empowerment, she has actively engaged in various leadership roles some of which are being president of two clubs; one named Wish Come True and another called Team Streets, empowering others to take pride in their environment and join her in making a positive impact by helping individuals around the world. Her commitment to creating change around the world within the Latino community stems from a deep-seated belief in equity and inclusivity. Applying to CHCI NextGen aligned with her aspiration to expand her leadership skills, connect with like-minded individuals, and contribute meaningfully to addressing societal challenges faced by Latinos. Her determination lies in speaking up for those who are voiceless. She is grateful to have taken advantage of this opportunity to further advocacy for social justice and create opportunities for underrepresented communities.
