Caesar Vela is from Libertyville, Illinois. From a young age, he has always dreamed of being a role model and leader for the people around him. Eventually, he realized that he could achieve this dream by pursuing a career in politics. Chasing that dream, Caesar has participated in numerous school clubs related to politics, such as the Latin American Student Organization, Model UN, My Brother’s Keeper, and even his own club that helps break language barriers between educators and the parents of their students. The opportunity to become a part of CHCI NextGen gave him an experience of a lifetime. He further gained insight into the world of politics that he aspires to be a part of someday. His values and vision for the future are clear, and he will continue to fight for the voices of those who are unheard.
