Carolyn Perlmutter 

Carolyn Perlmutter is a Senior Legislative Assistant, covering a broad range of domestic issues, including education, environment, and transportation issues. Prior to serving in this role, Carolyn was a Health Legislative Aide for Senator Ben Cardin. In addition to her experience on Capitol Hill, Carolyn has served in roles with the National Association of Community Health Centers, a political campaign research consulting firm, and the Missouri Democratic Party during the 2018 election cycle. Carolyn was born in Mexico City and raised in Dallas, Texas. She is the proud daughter and granddaughter of Cuban immigrants. Carolyn has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
