Daniel Ceballos was born in Houston, Texas to Dominican immigrants and spent most of his early childhood living in Washington Heights, NY. He is the former Vice President of his school’s Latin American Student Organization (LASO), the former Treasurer of his local National Honor Society (NHS), a member of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), a Student Ambassador, and a sitting councilman for his school’s Student Council. He has a passion for politics, systems of government, and the history of his Hispanic heritage and community. Thanks to CHCI NextGen, Daniel experienced firsthand what it is like on Capitol Hill and was able to hear directly from representatives of his community within Congress. What was once a distant dream has become a reality because of the amazing people behind CHCI NextGen. Moving forward, Daniel hopes to inspire his community and help lead the next generation.
