Edgar Euceda is a dedicated student passionate about social justice and law reform, believing in the power of collective action. He actively supports youth mentorship and community development programs in his city. As president of the Debate Team and the Latin Culture Club, he founded Cap the Rate, a student-led organization focused on reducing dropout rates. He collaborates with nonprofits like Space City Camp to make debate accessible and volunteers to judge middle school tournaments, providing valuable feedback. His experience in CHCI NextGen significantly impacted his growth as a leader. The program allowed him to explore Washington, D.C., learn about the legislative process, and connect with other Latino students. Meeting Members of Congress inspired him and provided important networking opportunities. Edgar is honored to have participated in CHCI NextGen, which transformed him by equipping him with the skills and confidence to advocate for his community and igniting his passion for leadership.
