Eduardo Gonzales is a proud first-generation Honduran-American who was born and raised in the great town of Teachey, North Carolina. Eduardo is currently a rising junior at Wallace Rose Hill where he serves as a leader in the Principals Student Leadership Team, Beta Club, and Student Government. He participated in the prestigious Harvard Summer Program, focusing on Government and Pre-Law studies. As a skilled drummer, he has not only led worship services for almost a decade but also hosts teaching seminars to inspire young children to embrace drumming. CHCI NextGen has played a pivotal role in his journey. It has not only broadened his perspective on political science but has also reinforced his desire to bring positive change within the Latino community. Seeing fellow Latinos excel in fields where they are underrepresented brings him immense joy and a sense of purpose.
