Evelin Leal is an aspiring leader from Mission, Texas, with roots in Mexico, where she spent the first half of her life. A dedicated student and upcoming senior, Evelin is actively involved in her community and school, taking dual credit classes while pursuing a future in biology at Trinity University. Her leadership skills have been honed through various roles, including her participation in CHCI NextGen. Through this program, Evelin has worked to elevate Latino representation and advocate for her community on a broader scale.
