Vice President
Freddy Soto is a first-generation Mexican American with a passion to serve others. He is currently a Senior attending Barrett, The Honors College, at Arizona State University majoring in Communication and double minoring in Public Policy and Justice Studies. Throughout Freddy’s undergraduate career, he has served as a volunteer coordinator for a state senatorial campaign as well as a legislative intern for a government relations firm. He joined CHCI as a Spring 2021 intern for Congressman Ruben Gallego. Freddy is currently a policy analyst for ASU’s Office of the President and is driven by the hard work and daily sacrifices his parents have made to give Freddy and his sisters a better life in the United States. As the Programs Coordinator of the Phoenix Chapter of CHCI’s Alumni Association, Freddy seeks to develop and coordinate local events for alumni to participate in and to establish relationships with CHCI alumni and Phoenix community members.
